Most first emails from an overseas importer ask the same five or six things. This page collects the answers we give most often when a buyer is reviewing WEIDUN as a gasoline garden machinery supplier, so you can judge the commercial fit before spending time on a full quotation.
What is the minimum order quantity for a chain saw?
Our bulk minimum order quantity is 500 units per model. The quantity is counted per model rather than per order, because production scheduling, packaging and any private-label work are set up model by model.
In practice most buyers do not open with five models at once. A common start is one or two models at MOQ level, and the line is expanded after the first container has been sold.
Can I order a single unit before committing to volume?
Yes. A single unit can be ordered as a sample for evaluation before any volume commitment, at sample price. The purpose is straightforward: you inspect build quality yourself, run the machine, and show it to your dealers or technicians instead of judging from photographs.
A sample order is treated as an evaluation order rather than a retail sale, so it is quoted separately from bulk pricing. Once the sample is approved, the volume order follows the standard per-model MOQ.
How long does a sample take?
Sampling lead time is 10–15 days after the specification is confirmed. The clock starts when the specification is fixed, not when the enquiry arrives, so it is worth settling these details in writing first:
- The exact model and engine configuration
- Bar length and any accessories that ship with the machine
- Packaging requirements
- Private-label details, if the sample should carry your own brand, colour or carton artwork
Are WEIDUN machines CE certified?
Yes, our products carry CE certification, and the factory holds ISO 9001 certification. Certificate files are shared with buyers on request, together with the models they cover.
One note that saves time later: document requirements are set by the destination country, not only by the manufacturer. Some importing markets additionally require local conformity assessment, registration or labelling that a CE or ISO document does not replace. Tell us the destination market when you enquire and we will confirm which documents apply to your models and which steps sit on the importer’s side.
Which port do you ship from?
We load from Ningbo, on the Zhejiang coast of China. It is the usual port for our region’s machinery exporters and keeps inland transport short for buyers arranging their own forwarder.
How long after the deposit is the container ready?
Goods are ready within 35 days after the deposit is received for a 40HQ container order. Production is scheduled against the confirmed specification, so changes made after that point are handled as a new arrangement rather than an adjustment to the running order.

What to send with your enquiry
An enquiry that answers the following usually comes back with a usable quotation on the first pass: destination country, buyer type, the product categories you are considering, the expected quantity per model, and whether you need private-label branding.
You can review the product families on the product range, see how private-label orders are structured on the OEM/ODM page, or check how the factory tests finished machines on the quality and capabilities page. When you are ready, send the buying details through the contact form.
